With the advent of the digital era, the application of technology products has become more and more popular, which has facilitated our lives and made it possible to realize the ideas of the past. A dinner is a way to keep people in touch, and having hot pot is a unique habit in the East. Taking the hot pot as the center, people sit around and chat together; such a picture focuses on the entire experience of the interaction between people. However, we intend to extend this frame from close up to long shot, thus enhancing the taste and topic of the feast.
Stepping into the restaurant, the theater-style waiting area is on the way. Through the mobile app, you can enter the game world and interact with other guests in the waiting room. This is also the first layer to lead guests into the virtual experience; before going to the dining area, you can see that Haidilao uses a large number of automated robotic arms and transport systems to replace repetitive movements (such as assorting dishes, portioning hot pot soups, and delivering dishes) with machinery; furthermore, display the process through transparent windows, which also allows consumers to see how the ingredients are dealt with before swallow them in.
In order to cope with the flow of people transferring robots, the dining area is clear and the circulation is smooth. This time, newly booth design combines stable booths on one side and movable chairs on the other side, which makes the number of dining people more flexible. For Example, there is a folded board between the 2 stable tables that can be connected together. With movable chair on one side, the original four-person seat can be extended to a maximum of 10 seats when connecting them together. On the contrary, the large table can also be divided into two groups of different guests via detachable board. As the saying goes,the three or five groups are said to be a party. China's multi-person gathering is often based on round tables, but this setting is not very efficient in space use. However, our design can meet different numbers of guests at the same time, maximizing seat usage.
The application of technology is not synonymous with coldness. What we want to convey is a comfortable and innovative space experience. Take advantage of convenient technology to improve service quality; make the dining space open and safe, but not disturbed through design. Smart Restaurant is an experimental project for digital applications. Under the premise of human service, we use technology to advance the dining experience for consumers and learn more about other sensory possibilities that can be enjoyed while eating. As stated in the introduction, imagination is your only limit here.
