Located in the bustling city centre, the Gallery is surrounded by a rare green belts and a garden on the back with the pond. Combining with the colorful fabrics and furnishings, LaCanTouch Design & Decoration Gallery brings a natural beauty to the chilly city.
The newly project demonstrates three functional requirements: "Show", "Sell" and "Supply". With "Library" as the overall concept, we integrate the systematic storage and display of fabric materials, emphasizing on sharing the knowledge. It is not just a traditional show room, but a touchable and interactive center. Not only designers, but also non-professionals can be inspired in this space. People here could get a professional consultation and support.
1F is defined as a Gallery.The light tree installation is not just visually marvelous, but has the practicality of display. Different patterns, colors, and thicknesses fabrics form an intuitive feeling in applications to lampshades, pillows, carpets, and so on. The design of tree-like shelves doesn’t lose the fun of the furnishings, in contrast, boosting the artistic expression. Furthermore, it extends the application of fabrics.
The biggest highlight of the entire project is the two-storied fabric collections wall, which has more than 200,000 pieces from around the world. In the process of this project with our client, we all believe that such large numbers of resources deserve a good sharing platform. It’s an ideal material center for designers or related professionals.
It is worth mentioning that,in response to different functional spaces, lighting design is adopted comparatively to create various space atmospheres. In the discussion areas of the 2nd and 3rd floors, the lighting design with different color temperatures make it easier for designers to discuss the layout of the fabrics directly. In the elevator hall, the infinite mirror lighting design makes the waiting time no longer awkward, however, turning into a topical and interactive place.
