Hot pot is a deep-pot culture, which embraces a variety of ingredients and also accommodates the dietary preferences of every diners. For Haidilao, a famous Chinese hot pot chain catering brand, it not only grasps the requirements of fresh and healthy ingredients, but also takes care of the experience service to each guests before entering the restaurant. Due to our client's requirements and persistence for the continuous improvement of details, we have more optimization and upgrades after "Haidao 1.0" version.
The service of Haidilao begins from waiting moments, including manicure, shoeshine, seats, and kid's playground. For the design or selection of furniture, curved and arch are well used, while seats is more convinient for collecting, arranging and cleaning. The kid's playground has more break throughs on color than the previous version, which is additionally add more childlike symbols. In the dining area, the most obvious change is tender orange-red furnitures. Apart from that, the most significant transfomation is the booth.In the 1.0 version, we changed the way on round table having hot pot, but integrated the dishes and props into a set of booth. However, hot pot is the best choice for multi-person dinners; though the design of booth greatly saves waste of space, it also limits the flexibility for multi-person dining. We have turned fixed seats of the booth on one side and movable chairs on another, giving more flexibility to the number of people dining at the same table. The versatility of the booth is retained and the design of the arc angle is applied as well. Meanwhile, we also pay attention to the comfort of the seat. The deliberate arc of the seat back makes the diners more comfortable. The upgrade of the dining environment, is not only to meet the needs and comfort from waiters and diners, but also concern the issue of health and hygiene. This time we make fresh meat area transparent, so that customers can see the process of ingredients before swallowing.
